CRS Training
The CRSTraining Series consists of 11 total trainings. The trainings are scheduledonce a week for 10 weeks. The trainingsare held at Blair County Drug and Alcohol Program Inc., from 9:00am –4:00pm. They are typically scheduledonce in the Spring and once in the Fall. If you are interested in enrolling, please provide an emailaddress that will be the means of communication.
Gambling specialist. (3) Be located in Pennsylvania or within 50 miles of Pennsylvania (4) Complete 7.5 hours of DDAP approved training in adolescents and problem gambling in order to provide services to adolescents (persons under the age of 18). Training Management System (TMS) TMS is a web-based application that allows drug, alcohol, and other human services professionals to register for trainings offered throughout the Commonwealth. You mustattend all trainings in order to apply with the PA Certification Board tobecome a Certified Recovery Specialist. If you are unable to attend a certaintraining, it is your responsibility to find out when and where the next one isscheduled to get registered and make it up.
Afterattending all trainings, you will print out your certificates off of the DDAPTMS Site. Save the certificates because you will need them to send in with yourapplication and application fee.
